Welcome to the website of Mission Armenia Limited (“Mission Armenia Australia”).
This website allows visitors to make an online donation to Mission Armenia Australia and for the issue of receipts for such donations. In providing a donation to Mission Armenia Australia, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions including our refund policy. Please read the following prior to making your donation.
Mission Armenia Australia supports the work of Mission Armenia to deliver charitable services in Armenia
About Us:
Mission Armenia Australia is a charitable organisation located in Australia and registered under Australian law.
Mission Armenia Australia is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC). From 7 July 2001, we have been endorsed as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR), as described in section 30-15 of the Australian Income Tax Assessment Act 1997.
Mission Armenia Australia supports the work of Mission Armenia (Mission Armenia NGO) in Yerevan, Armenia which partners with the UNHCR, the UN Refugee Agency, to provide refugees with support under UNHCR charter and approved programs. As well, Mission Armenia NGO provides food on daily basis and medical assistance to large number of needy elderly Armenians and people with disabilities; and homecare services and social housing with a supportive environment and accommodation and a variety of 24-hour services to needy elderly Armenians and people with disabilities.
What do we do?
Mission Armenia Australia is involved in raising funds and supporting the Mission Armenia NGO. We achieve this by way of promoting the needs and the projects of Mission Armenia NGO and encouraging donations by our supporters.
Mission Armenia Australia is run by volunteers and no one is paid for their work.
Please note that we do not hold any fundraising activities, we just accept donations.
What are we working to achieve?
The people who benefit from our support activities for Mission Armenia NGO are the elderly, migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and homeless people in Armenia.

How we manage donations
You can give once or set up a monthly donation program.
You can set up an account on the website and access your donor dashboard to track your donations.
It is possible for any donor to specify the allocation of their donations to a specific project in Armenia otherwise the donations will be allocated to a general fund supporting non-specific project services. When you select any specific project, we inform Mission Armenia NGO and they will allocate the donation to the project of your choice.
You must register in order to set up an account on our website.
You need to first fill in your registration details that are required in the online form to gain access to your password-controlled donor dashboard on the website. To access your donor dashboard you can also use the email that you have used to gain access to the donor dashboard to manage your account without having to create a password. Simply when entering the donor dashboard page, you will be asked to provide the email used, then if it matches the one on the database, it will send a temp access link to that specific email. Otherwise you can also use email and password to gain access if you have created a password when registering.
To set up an account on our website, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- You will not share your password or login details with any other person and you will keep your contact, payment and other account information updated; and
- You warrant that all information you provide is true, correct, up-to-date and accurate personal information.
How to pay your donation
Once you have made your selection as to how you want us to allocate your donation, you will be guided through the payment process.
The payment cards we accept
The method of payment on our website is by credit card.
Donations can be made by direct debit. All transactions are processed in Australian dollars.
We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards via a secure payments system which is linked directly to our bank who will authorise all credit card payments. We can accept cards issued in Australia or overseas.
We do not process any payments on the website or store payment card information on the website, in the event payment transactions occur on the website, we pass payment card information to Stripe (third-party payment processors) using secure payment technology and Stripe processes the transaction and send us the confirmation of payment. Monthly donations
If you authorise a recurring donation, your payment card details are stored by our payment processor in accordance with payment card industry standards.
It is your responsibility to ensure that there are sufficient clear funds available in your account to meet your recurring donation.
We may vary details of your agreement or a direct debit request at any time by giving you at least 14 days written notice.
If you wish to alter, defer or cancel the payment of a recurring donation, you can do this via the donor dashboard which is linked to Stripe. Alternatively you can notify us by email at least 14 days before the next donation day.
Receipt
We issue a receipt with a copy of the payment information received from our bank for each donation. Donations of $2 and more are potentially tax deductible, depending on your personal tax status under Australia tax law.
Ongoing monthly donations are tax deductible and will be receipted on the date of the donation each month.
Harbik can you please tell me if this is correct that we issue a receipt at the end of each month. I thought the receipt is issued when the payment occurs.
You should retain the receipt and provide it to the person who prepares your tax returns. We do not guarantee you will receive a tax deduction for any specific amount as it may be based on your personal tax status under Australia tax law.
Refunds and cancellations
We will consider any requests for a refund and will ensure that genuine errors are corrected, however we are under no obligation to give refunds and the decision on refunds will be at our discretion. If you would like to request a refund, please provide details of how you made the donation, the amount, the date and the circumstances justifying your request.
If there has been an unauthorised use of a person’s payment card, and the unauthorised nature of that use is proved on the balance of probabilities, then we will refund the donation.
We will also provide a refund if our authorisations to conduct fundraising change in the State or Territory of Australia in which you live.
Any refunds will be made by credit to the account of the payment card used for the donation.
If you make an error, please email us as soon as possible. Donations cannot be refunded if we have already transferred the donation to Mission Armenia NGO.
If a donation is refunded, then the tax receipt is no longer valid and should be destroyed. Please note it is your responsibility to submit valid tax receipts to the ATO (Australia Taxation Office) when claiming a tax deduction.
Minimum age
This website is not directed to anyone under 13 years of age. If you are under 13, you are not permitted to use this website. If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, then you may only use this website and make a donation if you have the approval of your parent(s) or guardian(s).
Our Policies
We adhere to all relevant Australian Consumer Protection Laws, regulations, guidelines and codes of conduct in carrying out our fundraising activities.
We reserve the right to make changes to our website and these terms and conditions at any time. Please review our terms and conditions periodically for changes.

When you opt in to receive our e-Newsletter, you can later opt out of receiving electronic communications from us by changing your preferences through the link included in each e-Newsletter
Do we collect any personal information?
The only personal information collected is that which you disclose to us in communications with us, including by completing the information of the donation webpage, or through opting in to receive our e-Newsletter on the activities of Mission Armenia Australia and Mission Armenia NGO This personal information will not be used for any other purpose other than to continue communication between us and you and/or distribute the e-Newsletter.
We, at all times, keep any personal information provided by you in a secure manner in accordance with Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, for the collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information.
We only use your information to process your donations and communicate with you about our charitable objectives. We will not sell, trade, rent or disclose your personal Information to third parties.
We may be required, in certain circumstances, to disclose personal information in good faith in the following circumstances: by operation of law; or when required by Australian regulatory authorities. Please see our full Privacy Policy for more information on the collection, storage, use and disclosure of your personal information.
Liability
This website uses third party vendors and hosting partners to provide the necessary software, hardware, payment services and data storage.
We make no warranty that the website will be available on an uninterrupted, secure or error-free basis. We will use our best endeavours to ensure the information and materials on this website up to date, accurate and complete and that the website is always available and virus free, however from time-to-time, and in some instances, this may not be the case as it may be out of our immediate control.
Certain legislation including the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) in the Consumer and Competition Act 2010 (Cth), is this a valid abbreviation? and similar consumer protection laws and regulations may confer you with rights, warranties, guarantees and remedies relating to the provision of services by us to you which cannot be excluded, restricted or modified (Statutory Rights).
Our liability is governed solely by the ACL and these terms and conditions. Except for your Statutory Rights, all services are provided to you without warranties of any kind, either express or implied; and we expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind including but not limited to implied warranties that the services will be: provided with due care and skill; fit for any specified purpose; provided within a reasonable time; or that our website is free from viruses, malware, trojans, worms or any other forms of malicious computer script.
Except for your Statutory Rights, we do not warrant the accuracy or completeness of the information and materials in this website. Please contact us if you identify any errors.
Interpretation of these terms and conditions
The words, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Mission Armenia Limited (ABN 33 097 445 808); and the words, “you” and “your” refer to any person using our website to make a donation to Mission Armenia Limited.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales, Australia, which are in force from time to time and both you and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of New South Wales in Sydney, for determining any dispute concerning these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions were last modified on 22 November 2021 and are effective from that date.
