HyuraSer is a compassionate initiative dedicated to the ongoing collection of food supplies for families experiencing difficult circumstances within Armenian communities. Inspired by a successful model from Switzerland, this project aims to provide consistent support to those in need.
The primary mission of HyuraSer is to help reduce hunger among vulnerable groups in Armenia, especially those who are unable to work due to illness or disability.
Key objectives of the project include:
- Ensuring regular food collection and distribution to families with members unable to sustain themselves through employment;
- Promoting a sense of social responsibility and unity among community members;
- Encouraging the growth of volunteerism and philanthropy in Armenia, starting with small but meaningful acts.
The project relies heavily on the dedication of volunteers and the generosity of shoppers who contribute by adding small donations alongside their everyday supermarket purchases. These contributions play a crucial role in driving the success of HyuraSer.
The project’s work is organised into several key stages:
- Food collection
- Sorting of donations
- Proper storage
- Distribution to families in need
Through these efforts, HyuraSer continues to strengthen community ties while providing essential aid to those facing hardship in Armenia.
